Sometimes in life we face such situations which we can not forget. Now also I remember few days back in lucknow I was talking to my friend on the roadside. While standing there I saw a lady coming out from a nursing home on the opposite side of the road, she had a new born baby in her arm. Her husband also came from behind with luggage in his hand. The lady stopped rickshaw and talked to the rickshaw puller, after talking she tried to get on rickshaw but she couldn't make it. I was looking at her from the other end from her facial expression I could make out that she was in pain. I couldn't watch it anymore I went to them and asked them what was the matter. The lady replied that she gave birth to the baby by operation and because of stitches she could not get on rickshaw. After listening I pleased her husband to sit in my car. I dropped them to railway station and after reaching there the man held my leg and thanked me and said "the baby is very lucky for us, till today we never got a chance to sit in car but today because of him we sat in car"
After dropping them I was coming back and feeling happy for them. But then certain questions started popping up in my mind. Acutally sometimes we face situations where we are forced to think. We start recollecting our past and think what we did till today and what have we got till now? And actually only then we get to face the reality. We start thinking that we did this we did that what all was possible for us to do we did but even after all good or bad deeds what we got? We think about it many times and then we get sad that after doing everything facing every ups and down going through every difficult situation we have got nothing in return. Now thoughts start arising were we wrong? or the way did everything that was wrong? Then we realize the truth, that neither we were wrong nor the way was wrong instead we didn't had any goal and without having any goal we were doing all the efforts.
Anyway after this help what ever I got I could feel that but no words was there to express it. Before this incident, two days back similar incident happened. In my neighbourhood there's an old couple, they have two children(son and daughter). Their daughter is married and live in pune with her husband where as their son lives in austrailia. The old lady is suffering from heart disease, although they consulted a famous doctor in city but the medicines prescribed by the doctor is not available near by and because of which uncle faces problem whenever he has to buy medicines. One day while walking in park he told me this and from that day I decided that when I'm going to that side only where medicines are available I'll bring medicines for him. So now whenever I go I ask him whether I've to bring medicine or not. Whenever he wants medicine he comes to home and give me the name of medicine with money. Now you will ask that what I got after doing all this? So let me tell that I didn't got anything in return but whenever this old couple meets anyone they praise me alot in front of them which more than anything I did for them. Now whenever I go out whether I'm riding a bike or car people look at me from respect.
These small incidents happen with almost everyone in life all we need is to recognize them and learn some lesson from them. When I talked about these incidents to my friends and family they were impressed. Then everyone thought that why not we create a society to help such people. Everyone thought that it's a great idea to go along with so we created a society. Based on our work we named it as " MAI HOON NA WELFARE SOCIETY" and it is registered with the society registrar. Since the resources of society are limited that is why according to our potential we help others.
Our society members are very impressed from the pime minister's cleanliness mission. In this we are giving our helping hand in our own way. Our aim too is cleanliness of our country but way is different. We try that instead of cleaning we should create an environment where people don't litter things around. Few days back I was travelling to delhi by train. You must have noticed that amny times people travellinf in AC coaches dump the disposal under the seat. This time I took big plastic bag and dumping polythenes with me. When train left the station I went to every seat in AC coach 2 gave them a polythene and asked them to keep the disposal in it. Before train reaches the delhi station I collected all the polythene bags and kept it in the big plastic bag I had and after reaching delhi I dumped it in the dustbin on the station.
You could now make out that it's not a difficult work. But during this not only many people priased us but the also helped us. Even many people joined our society. Now I don't want that we talk and talk instead we do things which we can do depending on our ability. My request to you is that join the society and help the needy person wherever you are. If you think our society is doing good work then you can help us in monetary way also.
